Tuesday

We had a lazy morning today. Everyone just hung out till around 11 when we headed to the pool and lake. The pool was COLD- we were not expecting that! Anna and Ellie ran and jumped right in when we got there and boy, were they surprised! It is such a nice pool- one whole end is kind of a ramp- it starts out with just a few inches of water and works it way up to 3 feet. Benjamin loved being able to stand and play without anyone's help.

Next we went to the rockslide. The big kids and Dad enjoyed that, but Sam did NOT like it. We hung out at the pool and lake for an hour or two before heading home for lunch and naps.

After lunch Paul and the big boys headed out to get me a new battery charger. Thanks dear! So, thanks to my husband, here are a few pictures of our house and our evening.

This is the master bedroom. It is the only room in the house that is decorated "fancy". It's probably my least favorite room also! But the bathroom is very nice, so that makes up for it! The bed is soooo high that Sam cannot get in it without using a chair!
The dining room with the table all set for supper. We all love this table- it looks like an old farmhouse table, and fits the theme of the house very well.
Check out the dishes- we all love those dishes!

The outside of the house. Not much to look at on the outside. Tonight we saw 7 deer in the yard.
The living room. My other pictures of the living room and other bedrooms did not come out, so I will try again tomorrow.

The game room, a favorite place to hangout. When we came, Dad was the undisputed champ of pool. Now, not so much! He's been beaten a few times by Zack, who is very proud of that fact.

Paul trying to show Benjamin a squirrel.

Anna just chillin on the deck.

Ben having a blast.
Paul, Jr.
The kitchen. We are enjoying using this kitchen; however, it is a bit small, but very nice.
Zack's delicious dessert he made for the family tonight. It was wonderful! Thanks Zack.
We ended the evening with a game of skip-bo, and to show my humility, I won't tell you who won. :) We're off in the morning for horseback riding and possibly a river tubing trip. Hope the weather cooperates!
