We hung around the cabin and did some laundry and cleaned up a bit (it's not fair that that stuff still has to be done on vacation, in my opinion) and then drove into Dawsonville and had some ice cream. When we got back, we were ready for the pool. Well, Anna, Sam, Ben and I were ready for the pool. It was so nice, as always. On the way back, I snapped these pictures of the lake. It was like a mirror today.
The house we are staying in is named Canoe Casa.
Ben loves wearing these goggles!
We had a lesiurely evening. After supper, I made some monkey bread to snack on. The girls went in the jacuzzi, Sam watched Finding Nemo, Zack was on the computer, Ben was in bed, Paul Jr. was laying down and Paul and I played backgammon.
It had been years since we played, so we had to have the rules right next to us as we played. It is a fun game and we enjoyed it. Paul enjoyed it more as he won.
Tomorrow is our last day here. We are going to the church in this community in the morning, then plan to hit the pool and rockslide and then go out on a boat in the late afternoon/evening and have a picnic on the boat, weather permitting.
Paul, Jr. is still sick. He thinks he has an ear infection and it is giving him alot of pain. Sam seemed a little better today, but he's still not well. The rest of us are holding our own!
Have a great Lord's Day.
