Kansas

We finally pulled out about 8:30 Tuesday evening after a day full of challenges and packing and cleaning. We were so glad to finally leave! Paul drove all night till about 10 the next morning when I took over. It was an uneventful trip and we arrived around 1. Benjamin did great! The last hour in the van was rough as he so wanted out, but other than that, both he and Samuel were wonderful.

We've been enjoying the past few days with my family. The kids are so happy to be with their cousins again. It seems they are able to pick right back up where they left off, no matter how much time has passed. My brother and his family arrived this morning, and when my nephew arrives tomorrow, everyone will be here. It's been about 12 years since that has happened.

Today is my parents 44th anniversary. Happy anniversary Mom and Dad! Thank you for the gift of a stable, secure home when I was a child, but even more, now that I'm an adult, thank you for the example you've given us of a marriage that works. Not one that's perfect, but one that is dedicated to God.

We're having a great time, and I will post pictures next time I am able to get online. Thanks for all the prayers! We leave Kansas late Sunday night, headed for Denver, Colorado.
