The ride home was not bad at all. We split it into 2 days and drove about 8 hours each way.
The kids behaved (for the most part) and really enjoyed the pool at the motel we stayed at.
Emma did get a little tired of being the van that long. We stopped about every 2 hours to use the restroom and walk around a bit, which seemed to help.
We were all ready to be home by the end of the second day, which also happened to be our 25th anniversary.
There's No place like home!
