Kansas- Part 9- The Last Night

 Sunday night, June 16, was the last evening we were in Kansas.  I always find the "last night" kind of weird.  It just feels weird cause everyone knows we are leaving and it casts a shadow on the anything you try to do.  But Emma and Ben didn't care and had a great time with Aunt Becca.

 And of course they had a great time eating.

 It was so sad to say goodbye to this guy knowing we wouldn't see him again for some time.

Jacob didn't seem so sad!

It was a wild, loud evening.  At some point during the day, the tv remote got misplaced.  My Dad was very patient about it, until he couldn't take it any more and made us stop everything and EVERYBODY looked for that remote.  This was all in good fun.  (maybe!)  It was quite a sight- 10 or so people looking through every inch of the living room.  It was finally found- right in the drawer it belongs in.  We all had a good laugh.

We left the next morning.  So sad.  The little kids (and big kids) were very somber and quiet.  Everyone hates leaving Grandma and Grandpa's house- and also leaving Zack. 

But we were off!
