A A Apple
Last week Sam and Ben and I learned about the letter A. Since a says the sound "a" as in apple, we learned all about apples. The boys enjoyed seeing all the different varieties of apples and different colors and different tastes. Sam's favorite was the pink lady while Ben's was "Canpa's apple". The girls told us that Grandpa's favorite apple was the red delicious and Ben decided that was his favorite too!
Tasting all the different apples
Sam helping me peel all the apples so we could make applesauce! It was very good; however, only Ben and Anna would eat it.
It even looked pretty!
Later we sat on the porch and read books about apples. Even Emma got to listen to the books.
Sam has learned all the letter names and sounds and has started putting sounds together to form words. It won't be long and he'll be reading easy words.
