- We finally got the bathroom wallpaper up and it looks great! Can't wait to finish it all.
- Anna and Ellie are going horseback riding tomorrow with some good friends of theirs- they are all excited! Ellie is beside herself with excitement and anticipation- this is a lifelong dream of hers!
- We've got a busy summer ahead of us. What happened to the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer??? Between now and August, some or all of us will be gone or at camp or at Grandparents or on vacation. There will be few days in June and July when we are all at home.
- Have you ever thought and thought about doing something and then when you finally do it, you realize it took a fraction of the time you spent thinking about doing it?? I spent all last week thinking about doing some paperwork and I did it this morning in a matter of minutes. We did it with the wallpaper also- it probably took us just a little over an hour and we spent weeks thinking about doing it. Hmmmm. I'm guessing there's some procrastination going on over here.
- Anna and Ellie are spending over 3 weeks with their grandparents in Kansas the last part of June. They are beyond excited. They had no idea about their trip until Paul told them Saturday, when all the plans were finalized. They were shocked. I'm so glad for them.
- It was 95 here today. Whew. It's only June 1st. What's August going to feel like?
- Ben has increased his vocabulary alot these last few weeks. He now says cookie, thank you, here go, set go, Bella, Paul, Zack, Anna, Ellie, Maaa, Daaa and bath. His favorite word? Maaaaa, said in a loud, commanding voice.
- Ben weighs 24 lbs at 15 months and Sam weighs 42 lbs at 4 years. Sam is in the 70th percentile for height and weight and the doc estimates he will be about 6ft when he's grown.
