Jack's way of sightseeing.
At this point, we got off the bus. We had toured downtown Manhattan, but we hadn't really got to see the Statue of Liberty and Emma insisted she needed to see it. We were much too late to go to Liberty Island, so we took the Staten Island Ferry, which went right by the statue.
There she is! It was so hazy.
Ellis Island
After we got off the subway, we found this quaint little Italian place for supper. It was incredibly delicious. This calzone was the best one I've ever eater. We had calzones, pizza, cannollis and a nutella pizza. It was quite an Italian feast and a great ending to a wonderful day.
When we were done eating, we headed back to where the van was parked and turned the corner and saw this. The Empire State Building, all lit up in red white and blue for the 4th of July.
