Random Thoughts

• Emma slept in the crib for the first time last night. I was surprised how hard that was for me. :)
• She is consistently sleeping 8 - 9 hours a night and is taking several naps during the day.
• Benjamin broke the toilet in my bathroom. He took off the top of the tank and it fell into the tank, and cracked it. We've been having to share a bathroom with the kids, and I hate it.
• Our A/C went out last week. We had to replace the entire unit. Thank you Dave Ramsey for your financial wisdom- our emergency fund covered the whole bill.
• I was able to visit with an "old" friend of mine over the weekend. We've been friends well over 30 years, but I hadn't seen her in about 15. It was so good to catch up and get a glimpse of her life, in person. Facebook is great, but in person is much better.
• Zack is moving out in less than 2 weeks. I'm very sad to see him go, but very excited for him to be able to pursue furthering his musical abilities.
• We've started school, but barely. I hope to have our first "real" school day today. Sometimes life just gets in the way and there is nothing that can be done about it.
• We've had nicer, cooler weather the past few days. It has been so refreshing! We're not in the Fall weather yet, but it's coming.
• I went to dinner last night with Paul Jr., Zack and Emma. Sometimes I have a hard time believing those big guys are the same little guys I took care of for so many years. Life goes so fast.
